Gabion Application

Gabion can be divided into weave gabion and welded gabion.

Weave gabion is applied in municipal engineering, infrastructure construction, water conservancy and flood control engineering, retaining wall, civil engineering and landscape engineering.

The application and advantages of weave gabion mesh:

1. Weave gabions are most commonly used as retaining walls to control erosion and prevent soil sliding or erosion on slopes. Stone cages can also be used to create temporary flood walls, perimeter fences, and even more creative applications such as flower pots, pond surroundings, and so on.

2. Weave gabions are also used in civil engineering to stabilize slopes and coastlines and prevent erosion. Another advantage of using gabion baskets in civil engineering is that they can be used to maintain small permanent or temporary dams, filter out silt in runoff, and regulate rivers.

3. Weave gabion is suitable for riverbanks with high flow velocity, severe erosion, and high seepage on the bank slope. The gabion is a flexible structure with good self adjustment ability for uneven settlement. The porosity of the shore surface and the gaps between the stones are conducive to animal habitation and plant growth.

4. The gabion net is suitable for river banks with high flow velocity, severe erosion, and high seepage on the bank slope. The gabion net is a flexible structure with good self adjustment ability for uneven settlement. The porosity of the shore surface and the gaps between the stones are conducive to animal habitation and plant growth.

Welded gabion can be used for landscape decoration in public places such as parks, squares, tourist attractions, and private areas such as exterior walls, commercial buildings, courtyards, and villa courtyards.
